Level 1 Lesson 2 – I say YES and I say NO

Hello! Welcome to Lesson 2 of Level 1. You will learn how to make decisions when asked with questions which answers YES and NO in Tagalog.

Now let’s begin.

Oo = Yes

Hindi = No





“Hindi” is sometimes contracted so it becomes ‘di.

Example:
Hindi ako pupunta. = ‘Di ako pupunta.
(I will not go.)

“Sige” is also another way to agree.

Example:
Sige, pupunta ako.
(Yes, I will go.)





Simple as that, now you know how to say yes and no in Tagalog.
